Why Undertake the Governance Assessment Process?

• The GAP is a diagnostic driven process which will help organisations to clearly identify where they are and where they need to get in order to achieve good governance.
• As all organisations in the third sector work within a regulatory framework, the GAP will help to ensure they are complying with best practice and legislation whether the regulating body is the Charity Commission, the Tenant Services Authority, the Arts Council or their Local Authority.
